Pierson Place Historic District at Central & Camelback

This neighborhood has about 200 houses, a few dozen multi-family properties, and many locally-owned service businesses on its borders.  The borders are Camelback on the north, The Grand Canal on the south, Central Ave. on the east, and 7th Ave. on the west.  A majority of the residents are younger to middle-aged professionals living in renovated houses, and others are long-time residents who were the original buyers (now retired).  The neighborhood has a very active neighborhood association with 100+ members and many activities during the year, and the crime rate is one of the lowest in the city.  Drive thru this neighborhood on any day, and you'll see residents working in the yard, chatting with neighbors, walking pets and riding bikes.


Carnation Neighborhood at Central & Campbell

This neighborhood has about 250 houses, a few dozen multi-family properties, and many locally-owned service businesses on its' east and west borders.  The borders are The Grand Canal on the north, Indian School Rd. on the south, Central Ave. on the east, and 7th Ave. on the west.  Many of the occupants are retired, and the others are predominantly middle-aged professionals living in renovated houses.  This neighborhood also has an active neighborhood association, and the crime rate is very low.  Drive thru this neighborhood, and you'll see residents doing exactly the same things!

Both neighborhoods offer:

Very short walks to Light Rail and Bus Stations
 at Central at Camelback, Campbell or Indian School Rd., and on 3rd Avenue at Camelback and Indian School Roads.

Places within Walking Distance:  AJ's, Hula's, Lux, Clever Koi, Steele Indian School Park, the Melrose on 7th Ave Arts District, St. Francis Church, Brophy and Xavier Prep, Central High School, Postino's, Windsor, Federal Pizza, Joyride, Churn, walking and biking on the canal bank, tons of 
antique stores and service businesses.

5 minute drive to downtown, east Camelback corridor, and I-10, I-17 and SR51 freeways.
